.Rimas J. Jasin, Executive Director

On May 19, 2009, the Board of Directors unanimously approved the appointment of Rimas J. Jasin as the new Executive Director of Presbyterian Senior Services (PSS).   He has replaced David S. Taylor, who has retired after 19 years of dedicated service.

Mr. Jasin comes to PSS with over twenty years of nonprofit leadership experience, with an extensive background in the field of aging.  He has held a number of executive positions in Northeastern Ohio, which include serving as Executive Director at both the Lake County Council on Aging and Alzheimer’s Association, as well as Regional Vice President at the American Cancer Society.  Mr. Jasin has a M.A. in Human Services from John Carroll University and a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) from Cleveland State University.  He brings with him expertise in many areas, including strategic planning, agency management, and business planning.

Rimas Jasin is very excited about joining PSS and the opportunity to work with the board, staff and all of the partner organizations towards advancing the agency’s mission and improving the quality of life of older adults.

Carolyn Fluckinger, MSW

Carolyn Fluckinger began her term as the latest President of the PSS Board of Directors in 2009.  An active member of the Board for eight years, Carolyn is extremely familiar with the entire range of programs and services provided by Presbyterian Senior Services.  Carolyn has a Masters in Social Work from University of Chicago, and she is currently the Director of the Kinship Support Center at the Family Service Society of Yonkers.  Her strong background in social services provides Carolyn excellent insight into the challenges and opportunities facing nonprofits today.
